there's a lot of songs where Nas goes against the American School system or public schools in general like: on "2nd Childhood": "teachers never cared/They was paid just to show up and leave, no one succeeds"..."why remix": "Why do schools care about your son's braids/more than they care for his grades?"..."Triple Beam Dreams": "Blamin' society, mad, it wasn't made faiI would be Ivy League if America played fair"..."Slave and the Master": "Schools with outdated books, we are the forgotten"...I didn't want to make this post that long, making it look like Nas was on a dissing spree, he was mostly responding and defending himself
...most of these are squashed btw

2020.09.12 04:16 CaptainCarrotSauce Jester's Paradise Song Lyrics

So I'm not very musically talented at all but I heard a lute remix of Gangster's Paradise and I knew I needed to make this. If you have any ideas on how to improve it please dont hesitate to comment because I have no idea what I'm doing.
As I walk through the void to the heart of darkness I take a look at my allies and realize there's not much left 'Coz I've been slashin' and laughin' so long, that Even the Heir thinks that my mind is gone But I ain't never finalied a man that didn't deserve it Me be treated like a fool you know that's unheard of You better watch how you're talkin', and where you're walkin' Or you and your stressers might be lined in chalk I really hate to move but I gotta, loc As I grow I see myself in the musket smoke, fool I'm the kinda J the little homies wanna see On my knees in the night, sayin' prayers in the abbey
Been spendin' most their lives, Livin' in the jesters's paradise Been spendin' most their lives, Livin' in the jester's paradise Keep spendin' most our lives, Livin' in the jester's paradise Keep spendin' most our lives, Livin' in the jester's paradise
They got the situation, they got me facin' I can't live a normal life, I was raised by the blade So I gotta be down with the misfits team Too much pipe weed got me chasin' dreams I'm an unstable fool with laughs on my mind Got my sickle in my hand and a gleam in my eye I'm a loc'd out jester set trippin' banger And my allies is down so don't arouse my anger, fool The end ain't nothin' but a deathblow away I'm livin' life, do or die, what can I say I'm 19 now, but will I live to see 20 The way things are going I don't know
Tell me why are we, so blind to see That the real jokes, are you and me
Been spendin' most their lives, Livin' in the jester's paradise Been spendin' most their lives, Livin' in the jester's paradise Keep spendin' most our lives, Livin' in the jester's paradise Keep spendin' most our lives, Livin' in the jester's paradise
Power and the money, money and the power Quest after quest, week after week Everybody's retreatin', but half of them ain't lookin' What's going on in the camp, but I don't know what's cookin' They say I gotta learn, but nobody's here to teach me If they can't understand it, how can they reach me I guess they can't, I guess they won't I guess they front, that's why I know my life is out of luck, fool
Been spendin' most their lives, Livin' in the Jester's paradise Been spendin' most their lives, Livin' in the Jester's paradise Keep spendin' most our lives, Livin' in the Jester's paradise Keep spendin' most our lives, Livin' in the Jester's paradise
Tell me why are we, so blind to see That the real jokes, are you and me Tell me why are we, so blind to see That the real jokes, are you and me

2020.08.18 07:41 Epiphanated First time doing Molly since 2014 TRIP REPORT

1:00 A.M EST Dropped an unknown amount of MDMA with grapefruit juice. A customer at my work asked me if I party and I said "yes." He said what are you into and I said Shrooms, LSD, and Molly since I'm taking a break from Marijuana. He gave me a hefty amount of Molly for free whidh I haven’t actually done since 2014.

Current situation? I told my housemates I’m going to bed. They don’t do what I do so it’s better they don’t know. I have a large amount of gum , Golden Apple Ice Cubes by Ice Breaker, an ashtray, a pack and a half of Camel Crush Menthol cigarettes, a lot of water, and Naphcon-A eye drops for the morning. Oh and I have Wet Platinum lube in case the feeling strikes my loins.

My goals for the night listen to a lot of music, read articles, meditate with Astral Projection Music, read about “sexual transmutation,” write my poetry, and keep y’all updated.

1:15 A.M EST Got a preloaded playlist of 25 songs. Starting with Brother by Alice in Chains MTV Unplugged version. Might add some Gorillaz Plastic Beach songs to the playlist just because.

1:25 A.M Pupils are starting to dilate. Presently listening to The Trip by Still Corners. Sound is starting to pick up. I just popped my first piece of gum, Mirrors by Justin Timberlake is now playing as I post this at 1:37 A.M

Update 1: 1:50 A.M. Playing Slow Ride by Sublime reading The Art of "Rolling." I'll add an about me here. I am 6 foot 3, male, and I weigh about 170-175. I estimate that I took about 200mg's. Interstate Love Song by the Stone Temple Pilots is now playing. I'm typing this between reading the article, adding the songs that I have on shuffle to a new playlist that I will plug in the morning. It's now 1:57 A.M and I See You by Missio is playing. I put Jungle by Tash Sultana next.

Update 2: It is now 2:07 A.M. I have Hallowed Be Thy Name by Iron Maiden playing. I'm sitting in my room with the door locked in the dark, fan on, another piece of gum popped, cigarette lit, and window open with the blinds raised. I just finished the article the Art of Rolling and I'm going to attempt to post a picture of the amount of Molly I took on Imgur for y'all. Maybe y'all will know how much I took. There were two rocks inside the capsule that I downed. End Hallowed Be Thy Name and enter? Glycerine by Bush. Might put on For Whom the Bell Tolls by Metallica or Mellowship Slinky in B Major next.

Update 3: It's now 2:24 even though I thought it was 2:27. My first lapse of the night. On Melancholy Hill by the Gorillaz is playing now followed by Glitter Freeze by the Gorillaz as well. I am now trying to figure out how to post my Imgur video properly so that I don't get this post banned. For some reason, Plastic Beach songs keep playing kind of killing the mood. Now I have Marshmello's remix of Alan Walker's Sing Me To Sleep. I'm sure no matter what song I play would sound good but I'm sticking with this one.

Update 4: Unfortunately it doesn't look like I can post any links based off of Rule 3 so I will follow it but I will post to my own profile if possible. Silent Ocean's by Generationals is now playing. I'm feeling bug eyed, rubbing my face a lot, moving my tongue like a person possessed, and bobbing my head. Now comes Home Sweet Home by Motley Crue, 2:37.

Update 5: I changed my Reddit Avatar to a picture of my friend Molly. It is 2:47 now. I played Fade Into You by Mazzy Star then some of the Cloud of Unknowing by Gorillaz which I ended up skipping. What now runs through my headphones is Ride by Wild Painting. I think I will play Wings by Haerts next, Yes that is how the band spells their name Haerts. Zoned out for a sec. Wings by Haerts is now playing and I accidentally saw that Ain't Nothin Bout You by Brooks and Dunn is next. 2:53

Update 6: 3:00 A.M. I just took a precautions check on the status of my housemates. I.E looking away from my computer for the first time towards the door with one headphone removed. 6th Avenue Heartache by the Wallflowers is now playing in my headphones. Next is Low by Cracker. I have not moved on from TheDEADotOrg website. But my next website is a short internet accessible book A Practical Guide to Sexual Transmutation. I'm rolling heavy with a piece of gum and my 3rd cigarette? of the night. After this playlist I will do some meditation from an Astral Projection music video on the internet and then I'll write my poetry. Once in a Lifetime by Stick Figure is now playing. One of my favorite bands of all time and I've met them three times. They remember me at every show and the keyboardist always waves. 3:10 A.M.

Update 7: I took a detour from my Spotify to go on the internet to play Blackmill's Home. Honestly, my whole intention with this has been to try to "trigger" myself into memory and this song Home now at its epoch at 5:13, Chateau by Angus and Julia Stone, and Welcome Home Son by Radical Face always do just that for me. It is now 3:16 and I am rolling face still quiet and unbothered. I will tag this as a long post. I am remembering being out in Colorado and all the wonderful experiences I had and people I met for 14 months. I think I will compile a photo album after I meditate and then I'll write my poetry with my love's in mind. 3:19 A.M EST

Update 8: 3:30 A.M. I have yet to pee because I made sure I was empty before dropping and who likes taking a pee break that might ruin the intensity, I dunno. I’m going to drink some water now yes, I know. Superfast Jellyfish just wrapped and now it’s Circles by Post Malone with Tripping Billies by Dave Matthews Band Live at Fenway Park next. I just love the violin and the lyric “like yellow flames she dances.” I’m still reading from theDEAdotCom but after will be Sexual Transmutation Guide. I skipped Mountain Time by Joe Bonamassa Live just because it’s too long for my current attention span now 3:40 still rolling listening to Golden Years by David Bowie on his Station to Station album but I rolled thru Hey by the Pixies and Welcome Home Son by Radical Face which I will save for my meditation. Now at 3:45 I am craving some classic rock. Listening to Voodoo Child to start. I downloaded the book and it’s only 21 pages. 3:46

Update 9: My eyes are still bugging and I keep moving my neck around like Michael J. Fox, and rubbing my face. I just finished All Along the Watchtower and then Purple Haze from my Classic Rock playlist and now I am on Stairway to Heaven. I think this will be my peak at 4:00 A.M but please correct me if I am wrong. That drum breakdown at 7:15 by Jon Bonham is amazing. Now I need some fat frickin bass so I am playing Free by Phish, then Cocaine by Eric Clapton then Hey You by Pink Floyd because it's Pink Floyd then White Room by Cream because "goodbye windows" then Call Me The Breeze by Lynyrd Skynyrd because of that darned piano solo then maybe I Heard It Through the Grapevine cover by CCR because that outro. 4:10

Update 10, I know: 4:11 I just finished reading from theDEAdotOrg so now I'm finally going to read the 21 page book. Cocaine by Eric Clapton just wrapped and now it's Hey You. I'm going to take a break from updates, still happily rolling. I'll be back -
Update 11: Have yet to take my pants down and I'm trying to avoid that. I'm still high and I'm kind of tired of it

2020.08.15 23:55 JCDU Strictly Kev / DJ Food - Raiding the 20th Century

This is not just a DJ set, this is not just a mix or mashup - this is a mashup of the musical history of mashups.

NOTE: This video has a silent gap from 25:00 to 33:00, presumably to avoid copyright strikes.
Curated by Kev / DJ Food this is a historical essay in musical form, including newsreel clips, interviews, avant-garde sound experiments, and viral bootlegs.
From William S. Burroughs to the BBC Radiophonic Workshop via Kylie Minogue.
There's at least 2 versions of this - this is the shorter "redux" with commentary by Paul Morley, there's also a 90-minute version played on XFM as their "Superchunk" mix, minus the commentary - find it on the usual naughty corners of the internet.

2020.08.12 19:17 Pignite772 What if Candyman was in Super Smash Bros? (SUPER SMASH BROS X LETHAL LEAGUE)

It may not be the most likely of characters to enter the smash bros roster, but this is a what-if scenario if someone from Lethal League were to be in Super Smash Bros.
Let's start.
The Lethal League!
What is Lethal League? Lethal League is an indie fighting game developed by Team Reptile. The game focuses around one baseball and 2 or so players. To play the game you must defeat your opponent by hitting the ball at the until theyve been knocked out. You lose if you are knocked out first. While the ball is in play, it gets progressively faster as the players hit it more and more, giving the gameplay more and more tension as the game continues.
Yakkocmn does a great job at explaining the basics and the greatness of Lethal League.
Welcome to Lethal League Blaze!
(Lethal League Blaze is the sequel. But i’d recommend watching it as Blaze plays very familar to its Original.)
So there's a lot of characters in Lethal League with flares and personalities which make them unique. But I think we can agree that Candyman has become the mascot of the series. That's why for I am choosing Candyman for our character to enter the roster for Super Smash Bros!
Meet Candyman!

Reveal Trailer:
More likely to be revealed in a sort of Nintendo Direct. It cuts to Super Smash Bros news and tells us to expect a new character. It begins the trailer at a Stadium. The Stadium's name is "Paradise Stadium." Inside the Stadium arena is all our favourite characters from Lethal League. Lined up sideways, waiting to be called out by the commentator to come on the arena and play some ball. Raptor & Latch are the ones who will fight on the arena.
Meet Raptor!
Meet Latch!
As the fight continues, they notice something fall from the sky. Despite the high speed of the ball, they couldn't help but notice the slow speed of some sort of falling sheet of paper. Latch grabs the ball and stops the play. Raptor and Latch stare at the paper. The wind flips the paper to the other side and shows to be an envelope with a red stamp on it with the symbol of a Sphere that has been sliced horizontally and vertically.
SUPER SMASH BROS INVITATION
Latch launches himself at the letter to grab it but takes a ball to the face from Raptor and his launched away from the letter. Raptor walks over and grabs the letter with a large and confident smirk on his face. Suddenly, Raptor himself takes a hit from the ball to the gut and is launched backwards. The camera pans to the direction where the ball was struck from to reveal a Robot on a Skateboard switch-flipping onto the arena. It lets out a laugh as it lands. Switch had entered the scene.
Meet Switch!
As Switch laughs he's quickly interrupted as Jet, Dice, Grid, Sonata & Nitro intrude to get their hands on that envelope.
It becomes an all-out brawl from all the characters of Lethal League. Suddenly the Arena shakes once. All the fighters pause for a second in confusion. Another shake. And another.. Doombox drops out of the sky, surprising all characters. [***Doombox’s Theme will be playing in the background]
Doombox!
Yep. He is a walking Boombox.
Doombox’s Theme Song
I really recommend giving this theme a listen. Doombox is a very aggressive character and this theme of his represents that perfectly.
He lets out a large roar as he quickly takes out all the characters one by one. Doombox let's out another roar in his victory in achieving the invitation to Super Smash Bros. All of a sudden you can hear a laugh from a strange voice. Doombox is annoyed that someone is still standing. He turns around to find Candyman directly behind him. A remix of AIN'T NOTHIN' LIKE A FUNKY BEAT starts playing. Candyman & Doombox have the final brawl. Candyman swiftly handles Doombox's aggressive playstyle and defeats him. Leaving him the last one standing in the all-out brawl for the Smash Invitation.
He'll then pose into his Character Select Pose from Lethal League Blaze. As seen from the image of Candyman shared above.
Candyman's Splash title will read: Candyman blazes into the fight! Making a nod to the name of the recent game Candyman has his featured in. Lethal League Blaze.
Music Tracks:
AIN’T NOTHIN LIKE A FUNKY BEAT! (Original)
Ordinary Days (Original)
Stage: The stage that will come with Candyman’s inclusion will be Paradise Stadium. You could argue that Room 21 (Candyman’s Asylum Room) would be more fitting but since Smash Bros is a fighting game where you launch your opponent out of bounds, i dont think a full rooom would be appropriate. Paradise Stadium will lose its windows for this stage inorder for people to be launched offstage.
Moveset:
This is pretty difficult as Lethal League isn't your basic fighting game. I will not be leaving out the ball for this moveset. But for simplicity, not all of his attacks will require it.
Gimmick: Of course, He'd need the ball though. How it would work is that he can launch the ball in the direction mattering on the normal attack he uses. The ball will do some heavy damage if it hits an opponent. The ball will be able to speed up but it loses some momentum when it hits an opponent or hits an object. Because not all Smash Bros stages have a roof and walls to deflect the ball back, the ball will dissapear back to Candyman once it's covered enough range. He will not be able to use his specials (Except Down-B & Up-B) until the ball comes back to him. Just like in Lethal League, Candyman can have moments where his next move is very unexpected.
Overall Stats: Candyman will be very floaty. He will have a high jump with a slow falling speed. His speed will be average.
Basic Attacks:
Neutral Attack - Candyman will swing his cane.
Neutral Combo - Candyman will swing his cane twice then swing it upwards, launching the opponent upwards too.
Side Tilt - Candyman will swing his cane but in a spinning motion. Dealing more damage than the neutral attacks. Will launch opponent / ball sideways,
Up-Tilt - Candyman swings his cane upwards in a rainbow motion. The opponent / ball will be launched upwards a little bit. Good for combos.
Down-Tilt - Candyman will crouch and poke his cane from below. Launch opponents / ball upwards.
Side Smash - Candyman charges up another cane swing exactly like how he charges in Lethal League. Will do a lot of damage if it hits an opponent with a ball. It will also turn into Candyman's head and phase through all objects or platforms. If the ball goes out of bounds from a side it will come out of the other. If it hits an opponent they will still get hurt, but the ball will still phase through them. Which also means they could hit other opponents on stage. andyman will also freeze for a bit before he releases the ball just like in the Lethal League. Launches ball forwards. The opponent is launched sideways
Side-Smash
(If you are confused on what I mean by freezing, think about when a character lands a critical hit in Smash bros. They will pause to put emphasis on the impact of the hit. Think of it like that.)
Up-Smash - Candyman charges up another cane swing to go upwards. Ball / Opponent will go upwards if hit. He will freeze for a bit also.
Down-Smash - Candyman charges up for another spin-swing but he's aiming downwards, as he is aiming for below. If it hits a ball, the ball will be launched into the ground then quickly launched back into the air at a 45-degree angle. Opponents will be launched similar to Side Smash more downwards. He will freeze for a bit also.
Up-Air - Candyman swings his cane upwards.
Neutral-Air - Candyman swings his cane in a circular motion. The ball will be launched mattering on the angle of the cane during this attack.
Forward Air - This will be Candyman's Smash hit. It will turn into the Candyman ball and go through all objects and platforms but not the main stage. It will turn back into a regular ball once it hits the main stage since the ball would just fall
Forward Air/cdn.vox-cdn.com/uploads/chorus_image/image/62648149/CandymanVSDice.0.png)
Back-Air - Candyman swings the cane behind him.
Down-Air - Candyman turns upside down and swings the cane downwards.
Special Attacks:
Neutral B - Bunt. Candyman will release the ball into play upwards. If an opponent hits the ball, they will be launched upwards. The ball will fall back down to Candyman, giving them a chance to hit the ball with one of their basic attacks.
Side B - Throw. Candyman will throw the ball and it will not freeze and it will cover more range than a Side Smash. It will not turn into a Candyman ball when he throws the ball.
Up B - Candyman bounces on the ball to launch himself upwards. The ball will be launched directly downwards. If the opponent is directly underneath Candyman as he uses the Up-B, the opponent will be launched downwards. If the ball is in play when this move is used, the ball will fade away and return to Candyman. This is because the player wouldn't be able to recover back into stage if they had the ball in play.
Down-B - Candyman will turn into yellow sludge for a brief period of time (1-2 seconds, making him immune to any attacks. The move will have a lot of end-lag and candyman will be exhausted for a bit before he is able to move again. (Again, 1-2 seconds)
FINAL SMASH: 1 Million MPH
This is for if Candyman grabs the Smash Ball. Candyman’s Final Smash Attack will be called 1 Million MPH, being a reference to the maximum ball speed in Lethal League. The background will turn white and the ball will turn into a Candyman Ball and will be launched diagonally, phasing through any object, including the main stage, at an extremely fast speed. Candyman will able to raise or lower the height of the ball’s direction so players arent able to completely avoid it after getting out the way once.
1 Million MPH
Taunts:
Taunt 1: Candyman takes off his hat and bows.
Taunt 2: Candyman spins his cane
Taunt 3: Candyman spins in a circle then ends with his hands out.
Victory Theme:
Will play a short 5 second version of AINT NOTHIN' LIKE A FUNKY BEAT
Conclusion:
That's all i have in mind for Lethal League in Smash. As a fan of Lethal League & Super Smash Bros I am a huge supporter of this and I hope one day Lethal League can gain more support for representation in Super Smash Bros or maybe support for Candyman's inclusion in the roster. Thanks for reading!

What if: Candyman was in Super Smash Bros? (Super Smash Bros X Lethal League) (Fanmade)

As a fan of Lethal League and Super Smash Bros I am a huge supporter of this and I hope one day Lethal League can gain more support for representation in Super Smash Bros or maybe support for Candyman's inclusion in the roster. Thanks for reading!

2020.07.14 22:50 itookyourmatches [Extensive Survey Results] Final Track Ratings: Lover, Off-Album Tracks, Covers

Hello, fellow Swifties! Sorry it took me a few days to post results than usual; I was out of town for several days with a family emergency. Everything ended up working out. In any case, this week marks the last week for the results of the Track Listings. This week we're covering Lover, Off-Album Singles, and Fan-Favorite Cover Songs. If anyone is interested, I'll be posting the Master List of every track rating in the comments. The following week, a new section of the quiz is being covered. We're going to be comparing the studio production versions with alternate versions (acoustic/rock/piano/tour remix, etc.) and deciding what the general preference is. I'm excited to get to that, but first, here's the final ratings! As always, these results are based on a scale of 1-10, and this week I had 277 responses.

Track Ratings: Lover

Track Ratings: Off-Album Singles

Track Ratings: Fan-Favorite Cover Songs/Duets

I hope everyone enjoyed the results, feel free to discuss them! Next week will be covering a new section of the quiz that will compare the studio production to alternate versions of those songs. It's going to be exciting. If you missed your chance to vote, you have seven days to Go HERE and do that. You MUST complete the entire extensive survey in able for your votes to count next week. If you're interested to see the Master List of the Track Ratings, I'll be posting them in the comments shortly after posting this, you can find it below. See you next week!

2020.07.05 21:50 roku9413 The Eminem review- episode 9: Kamikaze

To say that Eminem faced a bit of a critical beating after Revival is a giant understatement. While revival did do well moneywise, after all it’s Eminem, his numbers would always be great. critics-wise, well people were not happy with it. And then literally halfway into 2018, Eminem took part in 2 completely unrelated songs. The first song was a remix for Chloraseptic which featured 2 Chainz on it and phresher actually doing a verse. Then the next was a feature on Royce da 5’9’s album book of Ryan, which had the song caterpillar that Eminem was featured on. The reaction from both of them was joy in hearing a more angrier and fired up Eminem on both of songs. And everybody was simply asking why this Eminem wasn’t on revival. What they didn’t know was those two songs would become the trailer to the movie that was kamikaze. An album of Eminem simply attacking his critics of revival a.k.a. the current hip-hop community as well as the rip apart of mumble rap. God i hate mumble rap.Honestly that was something we would never think wed hear.
I mentioned in my MMLP 2 review how I loved seeing Eminem take risks and on kamikaze the album , Eminem takes the biggest risk of them all. He put the album out with no promotion, no lead single or anything like that. Literally he tweeted out “hey my new album kamikaze is out.” That’s a risk. Eminem pulling an Avenged Sevenfold and releasing an album out of nowhere. Marshall’s reasoning behind it was that he didn’t want people to go into it with a set of expectations or guidelines. As he felt that that was one of the reasons why people ripped apart revival was that people started hating on it right when the tracklist came out. Which i have to say is unfair to judge a whole album based off its song titles. And yeah fair enough. That is always the danger of hype with any kind. That if you give people enough time to be hyped up for something they’ll start making their own checklist and if it doesnt abide by it , theyll hate it instead of going into something with an open mind. Look at the Star Wars movies for instance. so making an album with no hype but just an open mind was the right call to make. Kamikaze is also the shortest eminem album running at 46 minutes which beats slim shady lp which ran at 58 mins.
The cover is obviously an homage to the classic beastie boys cover “ license to ill” which we know how theyve been an influence on eminem. What makes it stand out are the designs on the Jet. You’ve got markers on it that say FU 2, as well As the image of Slim Shady on the jet, the word suck it spell backwards and of course the pilot which is Eminem flipping us off. It is the right visual representation of the album as kamikazes are planes that do crash out of nowhere and this album and kind of what the whole album is about really did crash out of nowhere.
So the first track off the album is called “the ringer” and it sets the mood perfectly for the album. With his first line being about how he wants to punch the world in the face, it’s clearly a reaction to the response to revival. The beat is certainly modern, and Ems flow isn’t choppy like it was in revival. The tempo is slower but can still keep you engaged. This song feels like a freestyle. Like as though Eminem walked into the recording studio and just let all this out. However this song just doesn’t stop. It’s an endless barrage of Eminem’s observations of the rap industry and seeing how it’s gone to hell with mumble rap and how he just doesn’t like it. Eminem also brings up the fact that The Secret Service visited Eminem‘s house due to his Ivanka Trump lyrics in “framed”. As well as the fact that he wishes that he should’ve worded his BET cypher differently. It’s brutal honesty from Eminem that I love. Like i said, it was a good start to the album and establishes that this will be a no holds barred type of album.
Then we get into “greatest” and yeah this is an awesome track. Once again it’s got a modern production to it, which I would expect coming from Mike will made it. Eminems flow right here is incredible and especially the delivery. This is one of those cocky boasting type of songs that pretty much just shows off that he really is the greatest in the world. This song has something that the entirety of revival lacked and that was energy. This song is just super energetic like it feels like it goes at 200 mph. Revival lacked songs like that and clearly hearing kamikaze it makes up for it. In My opinion, its one of my favorite tracks off the album.
Lucky you is the next track and it features Joyner Lucas. Now I remember around the time revival was coming out, Eminem had said that Joyner Lucas is one of his favorite rappers. So eventually a collab was going to happen but I don’t think any of us could predict how it would turn out. If you remember in my MMLP 2 review, I said that while I did like love game I wish it was more of a showcase of the two rappers. Well lucky you pretty much did that. Joyner’s flow right here is amazing with him just going off about how he wishes he could get awards and wishes he could get recognition, and Eminem being on the other side of it basically saying that he has got an award he has gotten recognition and yet it’s meaningless because of the fact that he feels cast away because he doesnt follow the current trends. It has some really funny lines towards mumble rap such as
But nothin' is feeling like anyone has any fuckin' ability To even stick to a subject, it's killin' me, the inability to pin humility Hatata batata, why don't we make a bunch of fuckin' Songs about nothin' and mumble! And fuck it, I'm goin' for the jugular Shit is a circus, you clowns that are comin' up
Its brutal but i love it. It also continues the trend of energy that weve gotten on this album. The irony of this song is that this is an anti-mumble rap and anti-Grammy song and yet kamikaze was nominated for one Grammy which was for best rap song which was Lucky you and lost to “Gods plan.” Really? Regardless, this song is a home run.
We then go into a “Paul” skirt which surprised me. We haven’t had a “Paul” skit since relapse. So in the Paul skit, he actually rips apart Eminem for making kamikaze and that he feels that if people don’t like kamikaze and they express their opinions on it that Eminem will just make another response album to that and it would just be ever-growing. It’s actually a funny skit and shows some self-awareness.
We then get into the song “normal”. And yes it’s another Eminem dysfunctional relationship song but the style actually makes it stand out. Because the way Eminem is delivering the song he’s singing. Because in the past whenever Eminem did his dysfunctional relationship songs he would always be really angry or really emotional. Right here you hear hes singing and the way he singing it sounds like the way Drake sings. Makes me think that this song isn’t really much of a dysfunctional relationship song, it’s more of a song that’s about Eminem statement on rappers who try to be singers. Another observation of the current state of hip-hop. And of course it does relate to the main subject of the album which was Eminem versus the detractors of revival with him saying to his girlfriend that they will sleep on their problems the way everybody did on revival. It’s also an interesting break from the really angry and aggressive songs we had heard in ringer and greatest and Lucky you. Overall it’s a fine song.
Then we get into something I haven’t thought we would get again, an Em calls Paul skit. And unlike the one in Encore this one is pretty funny. With Em just finding one of his haters and going to his house. Its funny.
We go from a very funny skit too incredibly serious song with “stepping stone” and this is easily my favorite song off the album. I remember after Eminem came back with relapse the next question people had was “what’s going to happen with the D12?” And now the question is answered.Basically what stepping stone is about is about how D12 disintegrated and how Eminem apologizes for treating them like a stepping stonr even if that wasn’t his intention. You really do feel that one proof died so did the spirit of D12. While it is sad that we’re not gonna get any more D12 songs it is nice though that they’re still best friends and they’ll still have each other‘s back. That’s true friend loyalty right there. Overall it’s an incredibly emotional song and certainly my favorite of the album.
So after a little break from the mumble rap dissing we go back into it with “not alike” which features my boy Royce da 5’9”. This one is filled with more insults to mumble rap all while Eminem mocks bad and boujee which is pretty funny. And yes this does have the MGK diss. Of course Eminem isn’t the only great thing of this song but also royce whos verse on this is just awesome and makes me go “damnit why havent we gotten another bad meets evil album?” Still overall, “not alike” is a great track and an awesome collab.
“Kamikaze” is the next track and its a fine song. I like the beat and when it switches halfway through, it gets hard. Its more of eminem just ripping apart his critics. I think he disses iggy azalea here with him mentioning how a shady45 freestyle was shit and thats the only bad freestyle i can think of. Still this song isnt perfect. It does have a revival level dad joke with
somethings afoot oh wait its my dick Grab the stick 12 inches of wood.
And Em calls revival “fack 2017” which cmon, revival wasnt that bad. Overall, kamkaze, the track, is a fine song.
The next one is called “fall” which is more of having Kamikaze’s main theme of criticizing the current state of the rap game while also responding to critics of Revival. This has the most disses with Eminem dissing joe budden, tyler and earl sweatshirt, and of course, lord jamar. Ems flow right here and the beat are both great. However the one aspect I don’t like about the song is the hook. And this is a bit of a personal reason why but it has to do with the fact that it’s Justin Vernon doing the hook. Why? Because I fucking hate Bon Iver. I’ve always felt that folk music and autotune just are not supposed to mix and Vernon right here so auto tune to death that I can’t honestly understand what hes saying in the hook. Still, i can see why “fall” gets a lot of love and i do enjoy it but i think certain songs are better.
Then we get into “Nice guy” featuring jessie reyez and...what the fuck happened here? Seriously we went from many songs on one subject and now we got into the Eminem dysfunctional relationship part of his discography. It’s like the entire album took a sharp left turn and just went in a weird and crappy direction. Jessie Reyez right here sounds really screechy especially with how she says the words “right” and “psyche”. All i can say how did we go from ripping apart mumble rap to this? I do like how she sings in spanish and the beat sounds like something from odd future. Other than that it’s crap.
Right after that we follow with the song that continues it with “good guy” which also features Jesse Reyez. I’ll say this good guy is much better than nice guy. It actually feels like a song. The beat is good and Jessie Reyez vocals are nice. But still the problem with this song is the same problem I have with nice guy and that it feels so out of place right here. It’s just another Eminem dysfunctional relationship song. Much like Nice Guy this is one you can skip.
Then we get to the final track of the album which is “venom”. And it’s a track that’s right there to promote the venom movie which at the time it was coming out. Honestly this is a very good song, with Eminem comparing Eddie Brock and the Symbiote to us the fans as eddie brock and his music as the symbiote and how When we listen to Eminem’s music we form a bond with it in the same way Eddie Brock and the symbiote Does in order to become venom. It’s actually very cool metaphor that fits the movie well. I guess the story goes that according to Ruben Fleischer the director of the first venom, that Eminem walked into the Sony offices Insisted on doing a song for the movie as we all know, Eminem is a giant comic book fan. The problem with venom is that it really is not the way to end the album. This is kamikaze this is us an album that’s all that about ripping apart mumble rap taking down the haters doing brutal but true statements on the rap industry. And we’re just gonna close this album with a song for a movie? Still though I think venom is a good song I just don’t think it was the way to end the album. I would’ve much preferred this on the venom soundtrack or as just a one off single.
So thats Kamikaze, for me the best tracks are
Stepping stone
Greatest
Not alike
Lucky you
The ringer
The worst are easily
Nice guy/good guy
Overall kamikaze is a good album for the most part. Much like the first MMLP, it’s about Eminem’s response to critics And showing that regardless of people saying Eminem as just a shell of what he once was, he still got it. Em’s flow on this entire album is great even on the bad song his flow is good. The beats are certainly more modern and it does take a little bit to get used to but at the same time luckily it’s not obnoxious. However the problem with this album is the final third of the album. It just dips into random territory and kind of holds the album down as a result. I do think that if the last three tracks were taken off and if kamikaze ended right at fall, this would’ve been a genuinely great album. But as it stands it’s not, it’s just good. If I had to compare this to something from the Star Wars analogy, I would say that kamikaze is definitely the solo: a Star Wars story of the Eminem discography. Like solo it was a case of going back to something familiar because it was the safe move to make. That’s how I feel with kamikaze. Eminem made a full on diss record as a response to the critics of revival as well as his observation of how the rap industry has gone as a way to show he could still bring out the slim shady persona. And much like revival, kamikaze did get something of a mixed reception. From the Fanbase people loved it and felt like it was a return to form for a good old Marshall. However the critics felt that Eminem was just sounding like a crotchety old man and felt that all Kamikaze was was nothing but Eminem defending revival. Personally I think that’s unfair. I do think Eminem has the right to say what he wants to say about critics of critics said things about that about Eminem. Still what kamikaze taught us is never piss off Eminem. In terms of where I’d rank kamikaze, I would put it above encore and revival but under like recovery or the Eminem show. I feel it ranks on the same level as how I feel with relapse. I said with relapse how i I thought the first half of relapse was mediocre but the second half of relapse was great. That’s similar to how I feel with Kamikaze, 2/3 of the album is great but the last third is just bad. Still Eminem seemed like he was back and swinging and will continue this new found confidence in himself with his next album. Next week we’re going to take a look at “music to be murdered by.”

The scene around them was a mess, a burning tree in the middle of the road, broken fence posts and fallen trees, and two men, bloodied and beaten before them.
It had taken Guy-Manuel Mota and Lemon Demon longer than they had expected, and the pair of a muscleman and gunman was a fearsome one, but regardless, they had managed to defeat their opponents unscathed.
Guy was feeling slightly smug after realizing all his partner had accomplished, and so, walked up to the apparent brains of the duo, currently laying there, trying desperately not to fade away, and laying on the ground by the busted-up fence, lifting up his chin with the end of his blade. “Still clinging to life, huh..? Barely, by the looks of it… Mind telling me who sent you? And who was that kid in the car?”
“They didn’t… Tell us…” The man, whom Guy didn’t know was called Antonio, grunted, before hacking up blood. “But I think it’s… Damned obvious… Who else has goons like this… Eyes all over the city… A need to take over this place?”
“What?” Guy was confused, as if he’d been presented a riddle to solve.
“Nnghh… Might be luckier if I die here…” ABBA continued, feeling his consciousness slipping. “Those psychopaths you’re working for… If I get put in one of their dungeons… Might be… Worse…” And then, his eyes shut.
Guy didn’t have long to think about that, however, his attention turned by the shouting of a grizzled old-sounding voice. “What in tarnation?!” A familiar semi truck had pulled up from the road, luckily still safe enough to drive on the near side, and out from it emerged a middle-aged man whose face matched his voice. He had buzz cut curly hair, a muscular, if lanky build, and was clad in a jean vest, pants, and a number of jean cuffs along each arm and attached to his belt with each article of clothing sporting a blueprint design to them.
The man stepped out of the car and started walking over, “What the hell happened here?! What’s this mess you’ve made of my pen?” The man looked right at Lemon, who had approached, and Guy.
“We just did our jobs, and dang well, too,” Lemon retorted, “so really, if you’re our backup here… You should be thankin’ us.”
“Well, that’s all well and good, but where is the bull?!” The man, then, asked, his temper still clear as he looked around. “Do you know what will happen if it gets away, or-?”
Matilda came up out of the car and tried to call the big man putting a hand on his shoulder, “Ernie, Ernie, Ernie, calm down, these guys are professionals! I’m sure they just hid the bull somewhere, knew your lil’ enclosure was so damn good those poachers we almost drove over would see it like a big red target! Just hidden, right?” Matilda looked at the pair, eyes both serious and nervous, “Ri~ight?”
Lemon Demon nodded, Right, yeah, he’s totally safe and sound and stimulated, too! Havin’ a damn content time, that sweet bull boy is, and I didn’t even tip him!” Lemon Demon started walking towards it, “Come on I’ll show you, it was quite the trick let me tell you… We can laugh about it while y’all and Omar Keshem sign us some nice fat paychecks!”
“We need to move,” a voice, frantically, uttered from the trees, and then, that green-clad birdman with the feather-plumed Roman helmet revealed himself within one. His armor looked scuffed. “Their ringleader, the man with a hammer, he’s coming too! They’ve suffered more losses than just those two, and the man is going to make a last-ditch effort to seize the bull and break Southward! Now we must hurry and rejoin the others! We’ve no time to waste!”
“Hammer… Shit, it’s him?” Matilda asked, “pile back in, everyone, hurry! We got a celebration to plan, and nothin’ like some last-minute turnabout is gonna get in the way of that!”
“Had enough joyrides for today,” the man named Ernie uttered, cracking his knuckles, “I’ll hold back, disassemble this thing, and if these guys are stupid enough to fight back or try to take me… I’ll put these fenceposts through their eyes.”
“Godspeed, Ernie…” Lemon remarked. “I’m sure all the rubber duckies are awfully fond of you!”
Leaving the much more gruff, much less old older man with a confused look on his face, the group, bull now in tow, drove off, leaving him to his work.
All these folks are having a pretty hectic night, clearly, and meanwhile, elsewhere in the district, we have a cryptid and an unlucky man trying to catch a dangerous beast
Scenario:
Somewhere in the Industrial District
The sound of workboots pounding against grimy concrete echoed through the alleys surrounding the Johnny and Cash Trash disposal facilities. A workman sprinted away from some unspeakable terror. He zigged and zagged around corners and weaved between pipes desperately. Every look behind him only further cemented his doom. The things that kept him up at night, his greatest fear was slowly but determinedly chasing him down. As he dived past some long forgotten crates he met the worst fate he could imagine. A dead end. He found a thick pipe and shuffled up next to it. Perhaps his pursuer would lose him. Perhaps…
Remix kept a brisk pace, sclera bloodshot and with a wide smile. It was a shame that the poor bastard had found him disposing of another victim, and his shrieks of terror more than confirmed that he had seen [God Shattering Star]. At this point though, it was no inconvenience to track him down and erase him. The thick footprints in the grime on the concrete and the scent of his terror made it no challenge to track him. Eventually, he would get tired, or run out of escape routes to scamper through. Any obstacle was quickly removed, and if it were not for the acrid smell of pollutants, this could not have been a more pleasant day for Remix.
As they rounded a corner, a thick streak in the grease noted that their prey had found their way behind a pipe near the dead end of the alley that hosted this cat and mouse game. Remix’s shoes clicked distinctively against the ground until they stopped. At this point they were close enough to deliver a killing blow. [God Shattering Star]’s hand shot through the pipe, half smashing half disintegrating it, and fully enclosed around the man's head and dragged him from around the pipe, lifting him off his feet as he desperately clawed at the stands fingers for some chance at escape. His screams were cut by a cracking of bone, and he slid out of the stands hand and onto the ground.
As their stand began to decay, Remix walked up to enjoy their handiwork. Another insignificant worm had been cleansed from this earth. As the stand was just about done, Remix spun, and what they saw delighted them. A man with spiky white hair and a mask on his shoulder stood staring at [God Shattering Star]. The courage it must have taken to not scream in terror must have been enormous, but the look on his face told Remix everything he needed to know. This man would be the next to be crushed by his hand.
A couple minutes before...
Things were on the upturn for the Judecca Highrollers. Though just a few weeks ago it felt as if luck wasn’t on their side, with a string of difficult negotiations with the district leaders about the construction of the railway between the Industrial and Waterfront districts all leading to middling results, things were changing. Following the [exhilarating performance]([https://www.reddit.com/StardustCrusaders/comments/h0nqqi/jojos_bizarre_adventure_oc_tournament_5_round_1/]) pulled off in Sound’s Garden by Alexis and Cybil, things were going well for the Highrollers. It might’ve been due to the whims of fate, and it might’ve been due to the good PR that came as a result of said performance, but progress on the ever expanding railway was going steady, and everything seemed to be in order.
Of course, that didn’t mean there wasn’t room for improvement. Though the reason given to the workers for Klein Bras-Cheche Heitsugi’s appearance in the district was to overlook the construction of the railway, it wasn’t the only reason. Klein was also here to keep track of the factories and their workers, of the environment of the district and the murmurings of the workers within it. Unrest was brewing between the unions and the factory owners, and being aware of the specifics of it could certainly prove to be valuable for the Highrollers in their future ventures.
And so, after checking on the railway and seeing that things seemed to be going well over there, Klein began making his way around the area, keeping an ear out for errant conversations between the workers and making sure not to draw too much attention to himself. Then again, it often felt as if that was inevitable no matter what he tried. Wearing shades and altering his mannerisms helped to a certain extent, but he still couldn’t help but notice a few suspicious stares from people around him every once in a while, or take notice of an almost stifling silence that hung around the room for a few seconds whenever he let loose a little. At least the workers here didn’t pay him much mind due to their constant state of overwork, which was possibly the one minor upside for the awful working conditions of the district, though the thought of that wasn't particularly encouraging for Klein.
With his back leaning on a wall near an alleyway by the Johnny and Cash Trash Disposal Facilities, Klein took a break. This place reeked, but at least it was somewhat quiet, and some time alone to himself would be nice for Klein. He looked around, relaxed, and let go. Alone, he could let go of all the subtle mannerisms he kept up while near the workers of the district to make himself stand out less. And yet, he still felt a niggling doubt at the back of his mind, a need to stay alert, to be aware of his surroundings and of what was going on. Maybe it was too deeply ingrained for him to just let go of it in such an unfamiliar environment.
Not that Los Fortuna as a whole was unwelcoming to him. Both within the Highrollers and outside of the group, Klein had found allies and friends, people he felt at ease around, who he could truly be himself around. Nalksi, Alexis, Max, London and the rest of the staff over at the Elephant Bones… He wasn’t alone, at the very least.
Klein’s attention was taken when he noticed something odd happening at a distance away from him. Someone running desperately, getting away from something. He turned around to get a better look, and saw someone coming right from behind him. Near the person was…
Klein looked at the stand from afar. Was that..? He shuddered, trying to put the thought aside. Whatever that was, it was chasing someone, and seemed as if it was about to kill him.
He took a tepid step forward. That couldn’t be it, it couldn’t be related to The Black - he must’ve mistaken it for something else at the distance. Regardless, whatever it was, it was the work of a stand. Klein picked up the pace, trying to catch up. Not only to save the man in peril, but to get to the bottom of whatever that stand was.
Turning at a corner and dashing through the trail left through the grime by the chase, Klein eventually ran into a dead end and took a look at the scene in front of him. He saw two people, or more accurately, a person and a corpse, sprawled out onto the cold ground. In front of Klein was Remix, whose imposing presence loomed over the corpse. They seemed to have noticed him, turning and taking a look at him, their sickly yellow eyes standing out in the dark. Near them was…
If he had wanted to ignore that possibility before, Klein was standing right in front of it right now. Somehow, when looking at the stand, he saw The Black. An amalgamation made out of the bodies of his ancestors, affected by The Black just as he was, firstborns of the Bras-Cheche like him. Black fluid emerging from what remained of their corpses, bringing it all together and coalescing into a distorted, vaguely humanoid form, kept from falling apart by the horrid black fluid. A horrifying reminder of the fate that he had managed to avoid so far. Looking upon it, a dreadful thought crept back into his mind, one that he had tried to ignore whenever possible - was that going to be the case for long?
Klein shuddered in face of the enemy stand user, yet tried to keep a resolute look. He took a deep breath in. A deep breath out. He had to remain calm. Inhaling and exhaling, Klein took a slight step forward, in face of the looming stand. This… This must’ve been a fake. An illusion. And yet it looked so real. He could imagine himself, his corpse, lying among his ancestors, suffering the same fate as them. He inhaled and exhaled once more. This wasn’t the time to panic. This person had killed a man, and they would soon kill him if he didn’t do anything else.
He took another deep breath, before speaking up, trying to regain his usual, defiant tone. “So, care to explain what that corpse over there is?”
Remix looked at the man in front of them, standing defiant in face of his greatest fears. A bemused smirk found its way to their face. “Oh? You’re still standing after seeing the face of my [God Shattering Star]? After you saw how easily I finished off that worm over there? So you’re able to remain defiant in face of your greatest fear. You think you’re brave, don’t you? In reality, you’re just foolish.” Remix spoke with a mocking tone in their voice. These types of people, the ones who tried to stand up against them… They were few and far between, but disposing of them was always enjoyable, watching them pitifully struggle as [God Shattering Star] finished them off.
Klein stood his ground, staring Remix down. In response, they took a step forward, [God Shattering Star] leaning over to get closer to Klein. Remix thought to themselves about the current situation. They’d been spotted not once, but twice by now. They had to dispose of this worm quickly to get this over with. He seemed to be roughly 5 meters away from them, and was likely quicker than them. They’d have to incapacitate him first.
There was a momentary pause, as Klein and Remix stared each other down, both ready to make their move. In an instant, they did just that, [God Shattering Star] picking up a nearby piece of debris and tossing it towards Klein’s legs at a breakneck speed to shatter them, while Klein teleported upwards, narrowly avoiding the debris and landing on a narrow pipe, precariously balancing on it.
[God Shattering Star] picked up two more pieces, ready to finish Klein off, only for Klein to leap off of the pipe and towards a broken window on the other side of the alleyway, passing through it and entering the factory. It was the Johnny and Cash Trash Disposal facilities, if Remix remembered correctly. So was he running away after all? No, that wasn’t likely, going off of his defiant attitude… So was he trying to get reinforcements? Was this a trap?
Remix snickered to themselves. Whatever he tried, that man wasn’t going to get away. With a light step and a flick of the wrist, Remix ordered [God Shattering Star] to break through the wall, pieces of decaying material falling onto the ground with a thud. They crumbled under Remix’s feet as they stepped across their remains, entering the factory.
Looking around, they didn’t spot many people in the factory. One, maybe two workers, worriedly looking around, yet doing nothing. In the center of the factory was Klein, who was… on the ground, clutching his foot? Wait, did he… Did he hurt himself after jumping through the window? Was he that desperate to escape after all of that bluster? Remix broke out into uproarious laughter. Klein was strangely silent, an odd expression on his face, perhaps fear or anxiety.
Calming down, Remix shot Klein a glare, and ordered [God Shattering Star] to toss the pieces of debris it had collected at his legs, further shattering them with a loud crack, to which he responded with a pained grunt. Remix furrowed his brow. They’d have preferred to get more of a reaction out of him. And yet, no matter how silent he was, that wouldn’t change a thing. “I can’t help but wonder what’s going through your mind right now. Are you thinking of escaping? Of fighting back? Neither of those are possible in the face of my [God Shattering Star].” Remix took a few more steps closer, just enough so that he would soon get within range of Klein. It was then that they had spotted it - behind Klein, deep in the ground was a conveyor belt, leading the trash in the factory to the incinerator.
Remix chuckled, looking down on Klein. Tossing his remains into the incinerator would certainly be entertaining. He wouldn’t even need to use [God Shattering Star] to dispose of his remains. And then, he would finish off the few workers in the factory, who seemed to be watching the fight in confusion. They weren’t escaping - that was good. [God Shattering Star] would make quick work of them once Klein was finished off, and Remix would get this whole affair over with. Klein remained silent, looking down. “I couldn’t help but notice tha-” “Shut up.” Klein looked up, facing Remix head on, his defiant stare returning, before speaking up.
“You know, when I saw you in that alleyway, I wondered what kind of person you were, to have that as your stand, whatever it really is.” There was a faint grin on Klein’s face. “I gotta say, as low as my expectations were, you’re far worse than I expected. So you just go around killing people, calling them ‘worms’, huh? Well, let me ask you this - ”
Klein was getting on Remix’s nerves. They would have to finish him off quickly. [God Shattering Star] readied itself for a quick punch, but before it could make it the whole way towards Klein, Remix felt something tugging at his body, pulling him. Klein’s grin widened as he… got up? Were Remix’s attacks ineffective? Wasn’t his leg broken?!
“How does it feel to have a fool made out of you by one of those ‘worms’, bitch!?” Klein dashed to the side, narrowly dodging Remix’s flying body, which had been pulled by [Koan Sound] down into the conveyor belt. As they began falling, Remix went over what had just happened. They had been tricked by Klein, who had likely used his stand to somehow heal himself and get away.
They hadn’t expected this, but they certainly weren’t going to let that be the end of them. Sure, they had made a mistake in not finishing Klein off quickly enough, but Klein had made one as well, the moment he let Remix get close to him. “[God Shattering Star]!” Remix shouted out, the stand grabbing a hold of Klein’s leg and pulling him down into the pit alongside Remix, before tossing him onto the belt at a distance away from them. They weren’t going to let Klein beat them that easily.
Both sides fell onto the moving conveyor belt, Klein easing the fall by using [Koan Sound] and a well timed roll, while Remix let [God Shattering Star] catch them safely. They stood up, regaining their bearing, trying to stay still on the moving conveyor belt.
“You know, this conveyor belt’s about to speed up real soon from what I heard, and whoever can’t keep up is going to end up right in that incinerator over there.” Klein said, pointing towards the incinerator, which was behind Remix, while staring them down. “So, wanna see if this ‘worm’ can beat you again and take you out along with the rest of the trash?” Remix looked back at Klein, his eyes bloodshot, and his stare darker than ever, changing from the cocky smirk of before to something… harsher.
“Don’t get ahead of yourself, you pathetic lout.” Remix said, keeping up his pace so as to not fall from the incinerator. “The spirits of the dead congregate around me. I can see them wherever I go, the remainders of people who were unlucky enough to be trampled over by fate. Though some might grieve, soon enough, humanity forgets about them, and the ghosts are left as nothing more than a faint glimmer of the past. Pathetic, isn’t it? Any human, self assured as they may be, can be reduced to a corpse in a mere instant, and they are helpless to stop it.”
“My [God Shattering Star] has the power to utterly destroy, to cause even the most fortified of defenses or the brightest of lives to wither away into nothingness. Meanwhile, I am the only one capable of bringing them back, if only for a moment, channeling their spirits. All of this is to say that I hold unparalleled control over life and death, more so than anyone else. Due to this power of mine, no one has survived an encounter with my [God Shattering Star] so far, so please do tell me...”
Remix’s glare darkened even further, a manic grin finding its way onto their face. “...What makes you think you’re any different?”
Open the Game.
Location: A conveyor belt sunk 10 meters into the ground, leading to an incinerator.
The area is effectively 12 by 33 meters with each tile being 3 by 3 meters. The purple tiles are the conveyor belt, the red tiles are the incinerator (which extends offscreen). The grey tiles are concrete walls and the red arrows represent the flow of trash from the funnels and down the conveyor belt.
The players are represented by their tokens with Klein on the top left and Remix close to the top center. There are three ghosts on the map, the gray one closer to Remix, the darker grey one to the right of Klein and the white one near the bottom left. The ghosts will be mentioned more in detail below.
The yellow X marked circle is a crane arm and the various green shapes represent junk (treat these mostly as map decoration and not exact locations). The junk is piled up around 2.5 to 3.5 meter, the pile of junk rising somewhat smoothly in height depending on the concentration of it.
The dotted blue rectangles are the walkways above the players and will be mentioned more below.
Goal: RETIRE your opponent by rendering them unable to fight or knocking them into the incinerator!
Additional Information: Several walkways cross over the pit, elevated 1 additional meter above the edge of the pit with bottoms made of thick metal grates. At the beginning of the match the conveyor runs towards the incinerator at 8 km per hour, with this speed increasing by 1 km/hr every 30 seconds at a linear rate. Macerated garbage is dumped onto the conveyor at a steady rate, with chutes along the sides of the belt dropping .5/.5/.5 meter cubes of crushed aluminum cans and other similar objects onto the belt every 5 seconds. Though launching yourself above the edge of the conveyor pit is fair game, as well as hanging on the walkways above it, hanging onto the edges of or exiting the pit will lead to being ambushed by disgruntled factory workers and instantly RETIRED. For the purposes of the match, don’t cause serious damage to the conveyor itself or the walls of the pit, lest you get swiftly RETIRED by disgruntled factory workers as well. The walkways, however, are fair game.
The claw will be dropping trash around that area every 30 seconds around the area where it starts on the map. It drops around a 8 meter cube volume of junk every time.
3 spirits are on the beltway and are available for Remix to use, both of which have died in unfortunate accidents inside of the factory - two near the top side of the map with 2-3-3 physicals, 3 waste management (they can differentiate between the trash moving along the conveyor effectively and know where to go to best avoid any problematic spots) and 2 lifting (they're quite good at lifting up heavier objects that someone of their stature might not otherwise be able to lift), the other near where trash is dumped onto the belt with 3-2-4 physicals, Boxing 2 (they're an amateur boxer, but one that can still hold their ground quite well), and eyesight 3 (they've got good eyesight, allowing them to better pick up on subtle details and movements).
